The Lego Star Wars: Droid Tales animated series is coming to Disney XD this July, and we’ve had our first glimpse of the promotional poster.
The show is set to retell the entire six-part Star Wars movie saga from the perspective of droid hetero life-mates C-3PO and R2-D2. 22 episodes have been commissioned, although they’re only 5 minutes each, which (according to my math) means the events of each film will have to be compressed into a little under twenty minutes.
Still, it could be a lot of fun if done right, and the poster adds to the intrigue by incorporating a few of the characters from Lego Star Wars: Rebels, such as Sabine, Erza, and Kanan.
