Here at Power of the Brick HQ we love minifigs!
Sure, building massive sets is ultimately what Lego’s all about, but there’s a whole other type of satisfaction that comes with tracking down a rare minifigure, and adding it to your collection.
But where to start? With that conundrum in mind, we’ve combed our toy boxes to bring you a new series of videos introducing you to the complete Lego minifig series — starting with those from the ‘Classic Star Wars‘ theme.
Ready? Then let’s get started with the Skyhopper Pilot, a character who may be more familiar than you initially think.
Released in 2003, this minifig pilots an Incom T-16 Skyhopper, and comes as part of the 4477 T-16 Skyhopper set. His visor, red helmet, and flight overalls may not immediately ring any bells with you, but according to Lego Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary, “this Skyhopper pilot could easily be Luke Skywalker.”
The minifig sports a printed torso, and comes with binoculars and a blaster. All the better for hunting Womp Rats with!
We give this minifig a 3/10 for scarcity.
Keep checking back in at regular intervals as Power of the Brick continues to explore the minifig galaxy!
