When you’re talking about truly iconic locations in The Simpsons, Apu’s Kwik-E-Mart is up there with 742 Evergreen Terrace, the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, and Moe’s Tavern.
Now, a quarter-century after it first appeared on our screens, the Nahasapeemapetilon-owned convenience store is finally an official Lego set (71016), available to purchase for all Lego VIP members on Shop@Home or Lego Brand Stores. (For the general public it’ll be available on May 1.)

Featuring numerous great nods to classic TV episodes, the set boasts 2,179 pieces and carries a price tag of $199.99, including Chief Wiggum’s police car with opening trunk, removable roof, and space for 3 minifigs.
For a place like the Kwok-E-Mart that’s known for its exorbitantly high prices, where even milk costs $12, that doesn’t strike me as too bad!
