What’s better than a bit of Lego Star Wars fan service on a Friday? How about six pieces of fan service?
That’s right: to commemorate the fact that today marks the release of all six Star Wars movies on Digital HD format, Lego and Disney have teamed up to give the six classic Star Wars posters — originally painted by legendary Hollywood movie poster artist Drew Struzan — a brick-based makeover.
From The Phantom Menace to Return of the Jedi, check out the rest of them below:
Since next week is the official Star Wars Celebration convention, this is a great way to create some fan good will, as well as to tide us over until the release of the two new sets timed to arrive with Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens at the close of this year.
Anyone planning to buy one (or all) of these posters if the folks at Lego make time available? Combining two of my favorite things in the world, you can sign me up for sure!
